This act first started in 2003 when two trios decided to play together in one big, exciting band. With a little help from the Folk Camp Society and agency bookings, JC Ceilidh was born. The band writes a lot of its own material, while maintaining all that is best from the traditional repertoire. Their unusual and original music makes for a unique sound like no other ceilidh band. The driving rhythms of the accordion and guitar, the sweet sound of the dancing fiddles, the swift trill of the flute and the power of the pipes makes the JC Ceilidh Band experience truly uplifting!
